Hi can anyone tell me if The Tolga Pension is still up and running? It’s on the waterfront at Dalyan and the web site doesn’t seem to be working.

Sorry can’t answer the question but it reminded me of a place I had quite forgotton!!!!
I first stayed at Tolga Pansiyon some 15 years ago; it was very simple but in a stunning location right opposite the tombs, and on the very outskirts of Dalyan at that time. Dalyan itself was still relatively small and undeveloped, very, very different from how it is now. I remember swimming in the river at 2.00am in the moonlight – impossibly romantic!!! And another time, swimming in the afternoon I heard a splash behind me, turned – I was nose to nose with a huge turtle, caretta caretta!!!
I often stayed there overnight on my way to Dalaman but not for a long time now as I prefer to fly BA into Izmir. Happy days!
The Tolga is closed at the moment, but there are no signs that this is long term. I will check with a friend whose uncle owns it and post a more definite report later. (ps it’s a lovely little family run pension. I’ve stayed there.

Hello, yes we stayed there in Sept 2010, fabulous. Buket, Tolga, Fatma and Huseyin all there. However their website is not functioning in English but is in Turkish, they need to address this issue or will lose custom.
the pansion is open now and same lovely family also :))
and they are raedy for season of 2011.ı stayed there one week before.
