Street Name Changes

We all had our streets named for the last census (exciting names like 546Sok).

We all (residents) had to complete the census with our brand new addresses.

We all had to register our new addresses with numerous bodies and authorities.

Now has anybody noticed that the street names have been quietly changing, usually to to the name of a member of a local prominent family (in one case to the name of a housing development?

My questions are:

1. Do we all have to re-register our new addresses?

2. How much does it cost to rename a street (No, I’m not thinking of a Kirpi Sok, but there is a local prominent Yabanci resident (now with Turkish citizenship) who cruelly had her street name taken away from her in the renaming exercise and I think it should be restored for her work in protecting the breeding grounds of the Turtles.)?
